Three Reasons to Use Dermal Fillers

There are a number of dermal fillers available depending on your needs and target areas. Dermal fillers may seem like a waste of money to some, but there are some excellent reasons to use dermal fillers. If you’re looking for reasons to try this unique beauty treatment, here are some of the most common.

Reduce Appearance of Lines and Wrinkles

Dermal fillers of any type help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Some dermal fillers remove lines from the lips. Some reduce lines around the mouth, in the nasolabial folds, or around the eyes. Dermal fillers work to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles by plumping the skin so that the lines are smoothed and diminished. This can take years off of your appearance. If you think you look older than you should, dermal fillers can help. Continue reading “Three Reasons to Use Dermal Fillers”

FaceTite Vs. Liposuction: Choosing the Best Option

Previously, liposuction was often used to eliminate excess fat in the neck and chin area, which can often lead to a double chin or a chin waddle. Now there is a new technology that delivers results without the invasive procedure of liposuction. Here is what you need to know about the two treatments.

What Is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a new treatment option that is made possible by the InMode radiofrequency technology. FaceTite uses targeted fractional energy to penetrate the deep layers of tissue in the face. The fractional energy breaks down fat under the surface of the skin so that it can naturally and painlessly leave the area.  Continue reading “FaceTite Vs. Liposuction: Choosing the Best Option”

Morpheus Vs. Fractora: What You Need to Know

There are a lot of new technologies for skincare and skin repair, and it can be difficult to know which treatment is right for you. Two similar treatments that are available are Morpheus and Fractora. Here’s what you need to know about these two treatments and how they compare.

Similarities

Both Morpheus and Fractora use fractional energy through radiofrequency pulses that target the deeper layers of tissue. Both treatments can help even out skin pigmentation, reduce the appearance of scarring or acne scars, and tighten and firm skin, reducing lines and wrinkles. Both treatments take about an hour to complete, and only one treatment is typically needed. Both treatments are also noninvasive with no recovery or downtime.  Continue reading “Morpheus Vs. Fractora: What You Need to Know”

AccuTite Vs. Liposuction: A Nonsurgical Alternative

Beautiful young female portrait isolated on white perfect skinLiposuction has traditionally been used to remove fat and contour the face. Now there is a new technology that allows you to achieve these results without surgery or downtime. Here’s what you need to know about AccuTite and its advantages over liposuction.

The Process

In a liposuction procedure, you will typically need to go under a general anesthetic. This requires a surgical team and facilities, even though it is an outpatient procedure. During the procedure, small incisions are made in the target areas, and a wand is slipped beneath the surface of the skin to break up and remove fat.  Continue reading “AccuTite Vs. FaceTite Vs. Face Lift: Choosing the Best Option

If you have lost your defined jawline, have a double chin, or moderate to severe lines and wrinkles, you may have considered having a face lift. Now, there are new technologies that give the results of a mini face lift without the recovery or downtime. One of those technologies is FaceTite, and it has many advantages over a face lift.

The Process

A face lift is a surgical procedure that requires an operating room and staff, which can be costly and time consuming. You will spend weeks recovering, endure a higher risk of infection or serious nerve damage even if a facelift is done on an outpatient basis. The surgeon will make incisions to remove excess fat and skin as well as reposition muscle and nerves. This can sometimes cause scarring and requires a recovery process.  Continue reading “FaceTite Vs. Face Lift: Choosing the Best Option”

Morpheus and PRP: What They Are and Why They Work Together

Do you want younger, firmer-looking skin that shows fewer signs of aging? There are a lot of treatments available for different skin types and different types of skin blemishes, lines, and wrinkles. Morpheus is the latest in technological treatments that works well for any skin type and will greatly firm the skin and reduce the signs of aging. Here’s what you need to know about Morpheus and how PRP therapy can boost your results.

What Does Morpheus Do?

The Morpheus treatment combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to firm and tighten the skin and trigger the body’s own healing response. Your skin heals itself naturally, which you can see anytime you get a scrape or cut. But as you get older, your body’s ability to produce collagen and elastin, both of which keep skin wrinkle-free and firm, decreases naturally with age. This is what causes the lines and wrinkles to begin forming. The Morpheus treatment boosts the body’s own collagen and elastin production to improve skin on the face and neck. Combining Morpheus with Facetite for Amazing Results

Up until the last decade, one of the only ways to get tighter, firmer skin on the face and neck could only be accomplished through a facelift or similar procedure. The last 10 years have seen a dramatic improvement in technologies and treatments for facial tightness and reducing the signs of aging. Recently, InMode introduced a new technology that produces the Morpheus and Facetite treatments. Learn more here about what these treatments are and how they can benefit you.

The Technology

InMode developed radiofrequency technology in a unique delivery system that allows for multiple types of treatments. The proprietary equipment is used in conjunction with a unique delivery wand that focuses RF energy into the deeper layers of the skin. The Morpheus treatment also includes microneedling in the treatment process, which has long been used to increase collagen production, which in turn tightens the skin and reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The Facetite treatment gives you a nonsurgical mini-face lift. Continue reading “Combining Morpheus with Facetite for Amazing Results”

Combining IPL Treatments with Morpheus Skin Resurfacing

The signs of aging can often be more apparent toward the end of the summer and early fall. During the summer months, you spend a lot more time outdoors in the sun, and sun damage can form new lines and wrinkles, discolor your skin, or make existing lines and wrinkles appear deeper and more pronounced. There are a lot of treatments for rejuvenating your skin after the summer, but one of the best combinations is IPL treatment combined with Morpheus skin resurfacing.

What Is Morpheus?

Morpheus 8 is a new technology that combines microneedling with radiofrequency to resurface the skin, as well as tighten the skin and make it more youthful and fresh looking. The Morpheus treatment works to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin so that it can heal itself. This makes skin tighter, firmer, and more supple. It can also reduce or eliminate the signs of aging. Continue reading “Combining IPL Treatments with Morpheus Skin Resurfacing”

Three Common Areas for Botox Injections

Botox is a wrinkle relaxer that helps eliminate and relax wrinkles with the use of a neurotoxin. Botox relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles through repetitive movements and contractions. When the muscles are relaxed, the skin has the opportunity to heal itself and reduce or eliminate wrinkles before the Botox wears off and muscles begin contracting again. There are three common areas for Botox injections.

Eyes

The area around the eyes can greatly benefit from Botox treatments. When Botox is injected around the eyes, it reduces the muscle movements that cause crow’s feet. Crow’s feet refer to the tiny lines that form around the eyes, and they are usually caused by frequent squinting or laughing or any movement that crinkles the eyes.
