Radiesse and hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are both dermal fillers, but their formulas support different goals.
- Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) fillers, like Radiesse, offer firmer structural support and encourage collagen production. We often choose this formula for the hands, jawline, neck, and chest.
- Hyaluronic acid-based fillers, like Juvéderm and Restylane, attract moisture to the injection site, creating softer volume and hydration. Our injectors prefer these products for more delicate treatment areas, including the lips, under-eyes, and facial folds.
Some treatment plans use both: Radiesse for firmer structure and collagen support, and HA filler for softer areas that need flexible volume.
