There are a lot of new technologies for skincare and skin repair, and it can be difficult to know which treatment is right for you. Two similar treatments that are available are Morpheus and Fractora. Here’s what you need to know about these two treatments and how they compare.
Similarities
Both Morpheus and Fractora use fractional energy through radiofrequency pulses that target the deeper layers of tissue. Both treatments can help even out skin pigmentation, reduce the appearance of scarring or acne scars, and tighten and firm skin, reducing lines and wrinkles. Both treatments take about an hour to complete, and only one treatment is typically needed. Both treatments are also noninvasive with no recovery or downtime.
Differences
There are few differences between Fractora and Morpheus. The two treatments differ in the equipment used to perform the treatment, with each treatment having its own proprietary technology. With Morpheus, the same equipment that is used for the Morpheus treatment can also be used for AccuTite or FaceTite treatments, which can often be done at the same time. The Fractora equipment is only used for Fractora.
Our offices use Morpheus to treat skin pigmentation, scarring, skin laxity, and lines and wrinkles. We have found this system to be the most beneficial for our patients. If you are interested in the Morpheus treatment, contact us today for more information or to schedule your appointment.
